Judging has already begun and rides started coming in on Sunday night and Monday morning, straight from the Hawkesbury Show.

Bathurst A, H and P executive secretary Brett Kenworthy said it'll be a big week.

"Rides started coming in a couple of days ago. Many came in on Sunday night after the Hawkesbury Show finished, around 2am," he said.

"I saw a couple of big rides come in and I've got confirmation that the big Ferris wheel from Sydney is coming.

"It's brand new, the biggest thing that's ever been here. They've got to put it in a new spot. It's going to be fantastic, the biggest Ferris wheel that's been at the showground."

Mr Kenworthy said he's encouraging people to use the parking at Hereford Street and to purchase tickets before going.

"They had some pretty big numbers at the Hawkesbury Show and so we want to be ready to deal with big numbers and the traffic," he said.

"We want to put an emphasis on the park and ride at Hereford Street. Buses will take them straight to the gates and they'll be running frequently.

"People can use their Dine and Discover vouchers but they can only do this online, not at the gate. It'll be five per cent cheaper bought online as well and it'll save time at the gate if you're trying to buy a ticket, so there's that incentive too."

Tickets are still available for the Royal Bathurst Show and can be purchased online via www.bathurstshow.com.au.

Tickets online are priced at $27 for a single day adult, $20.50 for a single day concession, $13.50 for a single day child, $54 for a group of four and $66 for a group of five.

Alternatively, there are three-day ticket package options.
