Tickets have already been on sale for several weeks now and while Mr Kenworthy said tickets can be purchased at the gate on the day, he's encouraging everyone to buy their tickets online beforehand.

And to provide another incentive to buy tickets online early, people who purchase tickets before April 16 will go into a draw to win one in four 'super show packages'.

"People who purchase their tickets before April 16 will get a 20 per cent discount and tickets will be five per cent cheaper afterwards than at the gate," he said.

"Our target is for people to buy tickets online to help us with being COVIDSafe and to help better track who we have coming through for contact tracing.

"We're doing something different this year, that there's a prize for those who purchase tickets before April 16. People will have the chance to win one in four 'super show packages', which is worth nearly $300."

Mr Kenworthy said all tickets will have names and contact details on them this year, to help organisers contact trace in case of a coronavirus outbreak.

"We're pushing to get as many people to get tickets through online and all tickets will have names and contact details," he said.

After the Royal Bathurst Show was cancelled last year because of the pandemic, Mr Kenworthy said he's expecting a big turnout for this year's event.

"From all accounts from the shows that have already run across the state, they've had great crowds, record breaking crowds," he said.

"It seems people want to get out and get to these events and socialise safely.

"The Blayney show, they had a bumper show, and the one in Goulburn, it was the biggest one in 30 years. Morisset had similar weather to us at the start of last week, but they still got a big crowd too."

Mr Kenworthy said the show over the past two decades has pulled an average of almost 24,000 over the three days, with numbers as low as 16,000 with wet weather.

He's expecting this year's crowd could push 30,000.

"We wouldn't be surprised if we get 30,000 over the three days, but who knows," he said.

"All signs are people want to get out and socialise."

There will be no parking at Morse Park this year and no parking along Havannah Street on Saturday due to the NRL match between Penrith and Manly at Carrington Park on the same day.
