Where can I park?

In conjunction with Bathurst Regional Council we are establishing a park and ride facililty in Hereford Street, Bathurst.

You will be able to park here and catch a bus to and from the Cottage Gate Entrance of the Showground between 8.30am and 10pm on Friday and Saturday and up to 4pm on Sunday.

Due to the NRL game on Saturday no parking will be available at all in Morse Park in 2021 and there will be no parking along Kendall Avenue (Great Western Highway) during the Show period.

What times are the showgrounds open?

Friday    9.00am to 10.00pm
Saturday    9.00am to 10.00pm
Sunday    9.00am to 4.00pm

From 9am each day for the General Public.

What time are the Fireworks?

The Reliance Bank Royal Bathurst Show Fireworks Spectacular is the culmination of each evening's entertainment and are scheduled to commence at 8:15pm on Friday and Saturday evenings.

Are there ATMs at the Show?

There are ATM's located immediately in front of the Show Office.

Can I use EFTPOS at the Gate to buy tickets?

Yes you can, however you will save money (and time) if you buy tickets online through 123-TIX

My child is under 6 years old do I need to purchase a ticket for them?

You do need to obtain a ticket and record their name for contact tracing purposes but you don't have to pay for a child aged under 6 years old. Grab a free ticket for them online.

How do the Bonus Ride Vouchers work?

The Bonus Ride Vouchers are a joint promotion between our association and the Showmen's Guild Members at our show.

Each voucher is redeemable at the Show Office for a sheet of 30 coupons with $1 face value. The coupons are usable at any Showmen's Guild ride, amusement or food outlet.

This is a limited promotion, get in early to save as much as you can.

Can I bring my dog to the Show?

Only dogs entered to compete at the Show or which are accredited companion animals are permitted on the Showground during the Show. All dogs on the grounds must be restrained at all times.

Is there a capacity limit for the Show?

We are permitted in excess of 32,000 persons including children at any time based on the publicly accessible space available at the Showground. We usually average an attendance of around 25,000 persons in total.

Are there any changes to how I get in to the Show due to COVID guidelines?

Not many, the same entry gates exist, but all attendees must have a valid ticket issued from 123-TIX with their contact information recorded on it and are not transferrable.

Tickets can be pre-purchased online at a discount or from the gate at the standard rate. We encourage contactless payment.

Are there any restrictions on moving around the Show due to the COVID guidelines?

Once you have had your ticket scanned (and Checked-in) you can move around the Show freely as long as you follow physical distancing and hygiene protocols.

Please keep 1.5m distance from each other and follow the directions of Stewards and COVID Marshals.

Does the Show have a Covid Safety Plan?

Will Entry to the Poultry Pavilion be permitted during Judging?

Yes. Concerns regarding the COVID safety of access to the Pavilion during Judging have been allayed by capacity limit changes and with the introduction of entry and exit flows. Access by patrons during Judging will be monitored by the Stewards and adjusted if required.
